Senji Gaiden
Part 7

So it turns out that cabin was actually the house of a medic ninja named Daisuke Nakamura. We had asked him for help, and he had gladly decided to take a look at Senji. He had an outhouse of some type where he had everything he needed so he took a look at Senji there. Turns out Senji needed blood……..

Anyway Daisuke operated on him practically all night. He told me and Akara to make ourselves comfortable in his house.
He had quite the welcoming family. His wife had given us food, clothing. And his kids…..heh he had twins, a girl and a boy, both around 6…7 years old. Very cute.  Best of all we got to take a shower for the first time in….forever……or at least what seemed like forever.
But as much comfort and care we’re given, either Akara or I can take our minds off of Senji. If anything happens to him……. I’ll never forgive myself. We all know why he got wounded so badly…….to protect me……the worthless looser.

“Such a priceless life given for such a worthless one……” I mutter. Akara down at me. Unfortunately for us Daisuke only had one guest room so me and Akara have to share a room for the night……actually it’s around oh I don’t know…4 am?  
The room only had one bed so I was stuck on the floor in a sleeping bag right next to Akara who was up in the nice comfortable bed T-T

“Kyo what do you mean? You’re not worthless!” Akara yells at me.
“Compared to Senji I am.” I say looking up at her.  
She’s left speechless “Kyo you-“
“Save your breath. You know it just as well as I do.” I whisper.

I hear Akara sigh. She gets up and crouches next to me. She pulls the hair out of her face, leans down and……..kisses me…….just a short little friendly kiss.
“You’re anything but worthless Kyo. If Senji would dare give his life for you, you are truly anything but worthless” She whispers as she pulls away from me and climbs back to bed.

Omg. I feel a blush creep up my neck. Omg. Akara….just kissed me. Omfg.  Akara just….Akara…….
Thinking about what had just happened I drift off to sleep………Tomorrow first thing in the morning…….we have to go check up on Senji…..

Senji much to his disliking woke up to white ceilings.
Looking to his side he saw Kyo sprawled across the floor…..asleep. Then something hit him.
He couldn’t see through his right eye. Then something else hit him. He didn’t have a right eye anymore. He looked to his side what little he could and found Kyo fast asleep on a couch on the other side of this cabin.

Senji let out a long sigh and decided he had to get Kyo awake….but how…….he knew there was no way he could yell loud enough to wake the world’s deepest sleeper in this condition. So even though his body felt absolutely numb he was pleased to be able to move his arm around the side of his leg and find his shuriken holster still there (enter evil grin of doom here XD)

A second later Kyo shot up as an enormous shot of pain raced through his lower abdomen. The Hyuuga bolted up and looked around only to see Senji grinning evilly at him.
“Very funny Senji” he grumbled as he pulled the shuriken out of his flesh.
“Oh you know, it’s very easy to have dead accuracy when you’re missing an eye!!!” What Senji meant to be a sarcastic scream came out as a whisper.
“Heh good to have ya back Sen.” Kyo smiled.
“Where’s Akara?” Senji asked quietly. Kyo fought very hard to stop himself from rolling his eyes.
“She went in the house to grab some food for us-me cause you know uh……..I’ve been here half the night….and uh…..yeah…..” Kyo replied a bit nervously.
“Wait she went where? Where are we in the first place??” Senji ranted, feeling a bit delirious. “Ok so after you passed out I…uh I managed to kill the guy……uh you can ask Akara about that later, but after I killed him, me and Akara brought you back to a house that we saw nearby. Turns out this was the house of a medic named Daisuke, he operated on you, and helped us out. So yeah….now here we are…..”
"What was he operating on? I mean...why?" Senji asked slowly.
"You needed blood and-" Kyo quickly caught himself.
"And what Kyo?" Senji said narrowing his eyes slightly.
"N-nothing" Kyo muttered looking away from his friend.
"Kyo" by know Senji's expression was a glare, and Kyo could stand only so much intimidation.
"I-I donated" the Hyuuga spat out quickly "I donated blood for you."

Senji's jaw fell open “I-I…don’t know what to say Kyo…I mean…thanks I guess I-“
“Senji stop you sound like an idiot. It’s alright. I owed it to you anyway” Kyo smiled cutting his friend off.
Senji just smiled and let the subject go.
There was no use in arguing any longer, they both had a long day ahead of them.
