Chapter 15

“Kakashi why’d you stop?” Minato whispered as he put a hand on the boy’s shoulder. The two had just walked into Senji’s room, meaning to meet him and Kushina. But half way to Senji’s bed Kakashi froze. Tears suddenly leaking out of his eyes. Seeing this Minato walked in front of the boy and crouched to his height. “Kakashi what’s wrong?” He whispered looking the boy in the eyes. “Minato what if he….what if he’s not the same?” Kakashi barely managed to say. Minato gave a small sigh and hugged Kakashi. “He’s gonna be the same Kakashi. He’s gonna be just fine. You just relax ok?” Minato lied. He knew that there would be something or other wrong. No normal ninja has ever gone through this kind of surgery without some defect. Minato stood up, put a hand behind Kakashi’s back and urged him to move forward.  Kakashi stumbled forward and climbed onto a chair in front of his brother’s bed. He took a minute to examine the older man. He looked so different. He was so pale, so thin it wasn’t even funny. “A-Aniki” Kakashi whispered, his voice shaking uncontrollably. At the sound of his brother’s voice Senji’s eyes opened….if only a slit they opened.
“Ka...Kashi?” Senji said in an audible whisper. Kakashi jumped his older brother into a hug. Minato smiled behind them.
“Aniki thanks god you’re-you’re alive. Aniki You’re the only one I have left now.” Kakashi whispered through his sobs.
The Only One I Have Left Now…..
The same thought came to both of their minds.
Clan Gone
Kakashi pulled away from his brother and looked down.
“I’m sorry I could’ve stopped it.…If-If I had come back on time……” Senji whispered. Minato hated the sadistic atmosphere in the room. “Soooo Senji I heard Tsunade-sempai visited you a while back.” He said walking up to Senji. “Yeah” Senji lets out a harsh cough and closes his eyes.
“Ani-““Kakashi let him rest. He’ll be coming home in a few weeks, and then you can talk to him all you want. Minato smiled. “Now let’s go check up on Kushina” Kakashi nodded.

//2 Weeks Later//

I thought that Aniki coming home would be a good thing. I thought that moving back to our house would be a good thing. I guess thinking just wasn’t good enough. The whole wiping out of the clan thing has affected him far more than me. Because now most of the time he’s drunk or high. Minato says it’s real bad for his health but he doesn’t really care. The way I see it I think he wants his health to get worse till he kills himself. He’s lost in this and I guess being drunk and high is the only way he can escape it. I know he doesn’t mean it but he when he’s drunk or something and I do something wrong….he hits me. A lot. Ji-san and Tsunade-samma want me to move back with Minato for the time being. Until Aniki recovers from this madness. I try to understand him but I’m only 10 dammit. I don’t deserve this. I’ve never done anything out of step….EVER!! I don’t deserve this!!
A lot of times when Aniki’s outside I sneak into his room and go through his closet. There’s an unimaginable amount of things in there that make him do all this. And sometimes when I’m about to be pushed over the edge I use a shot or two. And it feels good. Daddy always said that drugs was bad…………...but this is an exception. The day Aniki finds out……heh I’m gonna be beaten to a pulp.

//Another 2 Weeks Later//

“So let me get this straight you got high for the fun of it eh?!” Aniki yells at me. Pft…..it was a matter of time before he found out anyway. I can tell that he’s high himself. “Good to know you care.” I smirk. “That’s it” he growls. Damn that’s never a good line. Last time I heard that I ended up with a door on top of me. Aniki activates his byakugan….WAIT WHAT?! He’s never beaten me with his byakugan before!
He lands nice hard gentle fist attack s on me. Pain shoots through me body, blood pours out of my mouth as I fall aside…..crying. Damn what the fuck?! “I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU, YOU GOD DAMNED DRUNKARD!!!!” I scream at him tears pouring down my face. I hate him so much. The pain is killing me. Blood chokes out of my mouth. I see him come towards me. And with all the energy left in me I run out of the house.

I have a strange feeling that Sensei shouldn’t have left Kakashi with Senji after finding him on the street……high. The thought has been killing me all day. Suddenly a bloody wounded figure appears at the door of my office. “KAKASHI!!! WHAT THE FUCK?!!!!” I scream jumping over my desk over to the boy. Shit what the fuck happened to him?!
“A-Aniki-“ he whispers and faints into my arms. Damn I should’ve known. I scoop him up and teleport to the medics.

Hopefully Senji didn’t hit him in any vital points…..if he did then……he just as good as just killed his own little brother.
